I've spent my entire career obsessing over spaces – how they look, how they flow, even how and where they're built. But the real magic? It's in how they make people feel.
That's why I started Veery. Not to be another ops vendor, but to bring something most offices are missing: care.
Not the kind of care that shows up in a task list. The kind you feel when your team walks in and the counters are clean, the printer's working, and someone remembered to stock your favorite snacks. The kind that makes people feel supported — without ever having to ask.
Throughout my career, I've worked across every layer of the modern workplace: as a real estate strategist, coworking space founder, digital and IRL community builder, Airbnb host. For months in Veery's earliest days, I personally stocked supplies and cleaned our clients' offices – because that's what needed to get done.
Today, while we're built with and powered by AI, I know that the best workplace experiences don't come from software alone. They come from a human touch, created by people who care.

Vickey Li, a Bay Area native, has spent 10+ years building, operating, and designing workspaces that actually work. Early in her career, she consulted for top-tier commercial developers on long-term land strategy – including multi-billion-dollar Class A properties in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
In 2016, Vickey launched and scaled OnePiece Work, opening 12 coworking locations across the Bay Area, LA, Seattle, and Boston – and serving over 350 high-growth startups in the process. She's also hosted and managed 17 Airbnb units solo, led workspace design and ops for dozens of hybrid teams, and built community startups before the word "community" was cool.
Vickey's leadership philosophy is rooted in hospitality, precision, and intuition. She's seen how operational details shape team morale – and how overlooked ops functions can either drain energy or unlock it.
