Celebrating Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month: Veery Founder's Immigration Story
May is Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the contributions of Asian and Pacific Islanders to American history and culture. This month was first designated in 1978 as Asian-Pacific Heritage Week, and was later expanded to a month-long celebration in 1992. This month recognizes the diversity of the Asian-Pacific American community, which encompasses over 50 different ethnic and language groups. The month-long celebration includes various events, festivals, and educational activities that highlight the rich cultural heritage of the Asian-Pacific American community.
Check out one of the Asian-Pacific American experiences like Vickey Li, the founder of Veery. Veery is a San Francisco-based startup that aims to build a flexible workspace platform. Veery Offices aims to improve and provide a complete workspace experience for office owners and their future tenants. Vickey's immigration story is featured in Modern Luxury Silicon Valley Magazine's April to May issue, and it's a fascinating and inspiring read.
